Welcome To The Neighborhood

The guesthouse on Pasadena Avenue in Medlock Place Historic District near Central Avenue and Camelback Road,  is located in the heart of Phoenix’s vibrant North Central neighborhood.

The Neighborhood

Long considered the crossroads of the Valley, this is where the high-rises lining both sides of Central Avenue slowly blend into the historic and highly-desirable suburban neighborhoods of Medlock Place, Pierson Place, Windsor Square and St. Francis. When Medlock Place was first developed in 1926, it was located 4 miles outside the Phoenix city limits.

Today, this beautifully maintained neighborhood  is now an urban live/work/play hotspot, with pedestrian and bike friendly streets and the Valley Metro Light Rail providing easy access to new and long-established retail shops and restaurants. And all of this surrounded by the “best big city neighborhoods in America” according to Money magazine.

Pasadena Avenue

From the guesthouse it is an easy walk to a lively mix of local shops, restaurants, and more.

There are so many great restaurants, local breweries, wine bars, ice creams shops, local stores within walking distance,  I can’t name them all here, but here’s a few of the local favorites:
