We spent a pleasant week here in late October. The guesthouse is well-equipped, quiet, clean and comfortable, although it is quite compact and is really only suitable for a maximum of 2 adults. It’s situated to the side and back of the owner’s home and we had full, private access from sliding glass doors from the bedroom to the nice pool area as well as the large yard and gazebo-covered sitting area with propane BBQ, We could park in the owner’s car port and had easy private access to the guesthouse from there.
We’re not really dog people, but the owner’s elderly and completely gentle Rottweiler, Macy, was a delight and made sure to drop by the pool patio once or twice a day for a tummy-rub — I’m sure the owner will keep her away from you if you prefer.
The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The location is very central to many of the Phoenix attractions, and a big plus was that we could safely walk 10 minutes to many good restaurants. The internet service and TV package were quite good. I would certainly highly recommend this property for a couple for either a short or extended stay in Phoenix.
