Loved our Stay

Lovely Casita in Historic Neighborhood

We were only able to stay three nights here and left wishing we had more time to stay in this lovely place. All the amenities have been carefully arranged to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. Carol has done a wonderful job decorating and attending to the needs of her guests.  She was very welcoming and gave us good information about local attractions and made us feel very “at home”.

We stay at VRBO locations frequently, and this is by far one of our new favorites. Accessing the wireless was simple, the pool was a wonderful place to relax after sightseeing all day, and the proximity to dining and museums cant be beat. We highly recommend the restaurant Maizies, an easy walk from the casita and a visit to the Heard Museum, just a short 5 minute drive from the rental . AJ’s fine foods (an upscale gourmet supermarket) is a 5 minute walk and a wonderful place to grab either a hot breakfast (the fritata was terrific) or a fresh baked good and a coffee. Sit outside on the patio and enjoy the company of the neighborhood residents. We had breakfast here both days and loved the food and the service! AJ’s also boast a wonderful wine selection!

The neighborhood is quiet and a great place to take an early morning walk or jog. We did both mornings and felt safe and happy to be around such interesting homes built in Az. in the 1920’s and 30’s. Carols’ dog Macy is a wonderful companion, as well and she joined us at the pool in the evening briefly…a nice touch for dog lovers, like us.
