This is our second stay at Carol’s guest house. We were here two years ago for a long weekend. No changes. The guest house is perfect for a couple. We stayed a week this time and loved it all over again. Clean, tastefully decorated, private, and has a pool! Close to everything.The kitchen is well equipped and the washer and dryer came in handy.
We particularly liked AJ’s Market for gourmet groceries and Postino’s for Sunday brunch. We are Catholic and St. Francis Xaiver Church is just a couple of blocks away and very welcoming. Our reason for coming to Phoenix was Cactus League Spring Training. Location was good for that.
One thing we really enjoyed about this “Home Away” was Carol”s beautiful yard – she has a covered deck area and it was wonderful to sit there and read and listen to the birds.
